We believe that a system of organic agriculture, which respects the earth like any other living organism, is the best way to preserve the quality and authenticity of our grapes. The principles that guide us in life and in the conduct of our company are the search of equilibrium with the environment and respect of the natural cycles.

Our lands, about five hectares of vineyards and three of woods, are situated in the westernmost part of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, between l75 and 300 meters high. The winery is in the town and the land consisting of marl (named locally "ponka") and sandstone clay soil are in the low hills nearby. The woods surround the vineyards and create a special and uncontaminated microclimate. The vines are spread over three properties: Cjestenar de Guards, Roncut and Riu Falcon, the latter is important for the "botritis".

The sense of our research and work are expressed in few key words:

First of all the choiceto work mainly with vines as Picolit and Verduzzo, which have always been an expression of this territory.

Then the natural, slow and gradual withering, without any type of ventilation or forced dehumidification, in harmony with climate development of autumn, that every year is different and therefore different wines.

Finally the meeting with the mould, a difficult encounter to express in words, but that instinctively seems rooted in our land and climate.
